We’re excited to invite all swimmers in the Senior and Senior Elite Groups to a Winter Long Course Training Camp in Japan from February 15–24. This is a great opportunity for focused long course training as we head into the championship season.
The 2nd block of training will have 4 Key Long Course Meets:
Alberta Winter Provincial Championships, Edmonton, March 18-21, 2027
Canadian Trials, Victoria April 5-10, 2027 (qualifying meet)
Best of the West Saskatoon April 22-25, 2027 (qualifying meet)
Wave Maker meet April 22-25, 2027 (not qualified for Best of West)
The February training camp’s focus is preparation for these 4 meets.
Our swimmers will be visiting popular tourist areas and also planning to have a joint practice with local swim club in Japan.
We’ll be training at Suzuka Sports Garden

We’re finalizing accommodations and flights shortly. Meals will be planned once lodging is confirmed.
Estimated Cost:
We’re looking at roughly $4000 per swimmer, depending on the final group size. If all invited swimmers attend, the total cost per swimmer could be lower, but we want to be upfront with a conservative estimate.
Chaperones will be confirmed once we know numbers.
